Hey! It's nice to meet you.

So this is my little spot on the Internet. Feel free to poke around and learn a little bit about me. I've got some projects that I'll be posting periodically, some blog posts as well. Feel free to reach out as well, I'm always open to collaboration or to hear about your project! I have three wonderful children, and am happily married to my wife of 11 years. We have two dogs, and live in West Chester, PA, outside of Philadelphia.

Web Developer Team Lead
Core Duties
Provide regular, supervisory support for the web developer team to ensure expectations are known (and are being exceeded), deliverables are being met, and that team members feel a strong sense of pride and purpose.
Continue to foster our creative, focused, developer-friendly environment and promote an environment of continuous improvement for all development team members.
Conduct code reviews and support goals around code consistency, standards of code quality, and documentation.
Serve as an escalation point for development-related issues.
Collaboration on scheduling and estimates with developers, Technical PM’s, and clients on scoping custom implementations.
Developing custom modules and extensions for Drupal CMS, Shopify, and Magento / Adobe Commerce.
Integration with various APIs and third-party systems.
Migrating existing sites to modern platforms.

Performed site audits to isolate potential areas for improvement, such as site speed and accessibility
Performed all website releases, which involved merging all branches of production ready code into a release branch within the repository and deploying to storefronts.
Daily estimation meetings for managed service tasks.
Participated in sprint based projects for new websites, attended design/dev handoff meetings, and project download meetings

Made use of popular JavaScript libraries, such as masonry.js, isotopes.js, slick.js, and many others.
Worked alongside the marketing department to help install tracking code snippets, pixels, and other marketing tools.
Provided estimates, UX perspective, and client training.
Monitor the department’s systems and workflow, including server issues, software, and development standards.
Supported junior level developers as needed, helping to develop their skills as well.
